Pricing difference from dollars to pounds

    Hello,

    I am a student in England and was poking at the premium package which is $99 a year. This is £63.02 yet when I click to pay by Paypal the site wants to charge me £85. Does anyone know why?

    Hi Emma,

    WordPress.com upgrades in currencies other than US dollars (USD) also include local taxes and fees, and they are adjusted periodically (rather than adjusting constantly as the exchange rate changes). As a result, the cost of the upgrade won’t be the same as if you directly convert the USD price into your local currency.
