Post vs Page
-
Hi – I’m new to this and struggling a little bit when it comes to a post vs page. I think the pages are what appear on the top of my page, including an ‘about me’ section. And I understand that posts appear in reverse chronological order. But, what I’m trying to understand is if I can synch my posts to my page. So for example, if I have a ‘Food’ header, with two child pages ‘Cook’ + ‘Dine’, how do I get the posts about different recipes I’ve made, to appear when someone click the ‘Food/Cook’ page? I don’t need to include information within each page, but rather, I’m trying to find a way to categorize my posts for easy search-ability.
Thank you in advance! The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi lbernard2017.
Pages are for example – Home, About, Contact
Posts are basically your blog. You can create categories in your blog posts and set your menu to display both Pages and Category Posts
Have a play with this and let m know if you need more information

Hi, lbernard2017,
Please note that your site (lauracbernard.com) is not a WordPress.com hosted site. For a refresher on how WordPress.com and WordPress.org differ, please view this page: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
Here is the link to the WordPress.org Forums if you need additional assistance: https://wordpress.org/support/
I hope you find a quick resolution.
