Please help me
-
Hello!
At the moment a company made the website for my company Platinum Human Capital Management and told me that they can’t upload it to my domain
Below I reproduce the text of the message received from her.”Your domain has an error that prevents the site from moving. Apparently it was linked to WordPress.com – which is a subscription service.
”Something unexpected happened while accessing this website. It looks like it doesn’t have an active domain connection upgrade to link the requested domain name to the WordPress.com site.
If this is your domain name and it has recently stopped working, it’s possible that your plan or domain may have expired. Please log in to your WordPress.com account and review the status of your plan and domain.””
I contacted the company that hosts my Platinum Human Capital Management domain and they sent me the following response:
”At this moment platinumhcm.ro points to the WordPress servers, it should work from there under these conditions: https://intodns.com/platinumhcm.ro
You can find a solution by contacting WordPress and their support.
We can assist you by changing the pointer so that the site works from our servers, respectively from the hosting package related to Gazduire.ro;”Please help!
Thank you!

Hello there @marianaionita2023!
Thank you so much for reaching out about this!
When a domain is using our name servers, it usually means that the domain will be managed here. This has to then be paired with a domain connection, for that domain in the associated account, here at WordPress.com.The domain host has accurately stated, yes, that they can “assist you by changing the pointer so that the site works from [their] servers’, respectively from the hosting package related to Gazduire.ro’ instead.
It sounds, though, like you would like indeed, for the site to work from here at WordPress.com, since the new site that was built for you was done here at WordPress.com? If that is the case, then your last step would be to add a domain connection to your WordPress.com account and to the related site, for this domain.
You can do so by following the instructions below:
https://wordpress.com/support/domains/connect-existing-domain/I hope this has been helpful, but feel free to reach out if you have any further questions!
