We cannot change the permalink structure here at wordpress.COM. What is used here is the most SEF (Search Engine Friendly) form of a permalink.

On wordpress.com we don’t have the option like the downloadable version from wordpress.org to change the permalink structure, but you can change it on a post by post basis to a certain extent.
