Pendant theme, category pages
-
Hi there,
With the Pendant theme, category pages display all the posts instead of the posts assigned to the category.
Here’s the test site: https://varshasc.wordpress.com/category/test/
The same applies to the tags: https://varshasc.wordpress.com/tag/test/
There seems to be a filter missing in the Query loop added to the template.
Thanks!

Hi @varshasc,
This has been a known issue with a few full site editing (FSE) themes. I’ll ensure that I pass this information along.
In the meantime, you should be able to address this issue by going to Appearance → Editor, selecting the query loop block and toggling “Inherit query from template” in its settings, as shown here:
I hope that helps and please reach out again if you have any further questions.

Thanks, @metabreakr,
One more thing that I noticed with the new themes, such as Antonia, Appleton, Heiwa, Meraki is that the Display settings (to set the items per page) option is missing from the block toolbar for Query look block.

To clarify, you see that when the “Inherit query from template” option is set to active, yes?
Typically when the Query Loop Block is set to inherit the query from the template that includes the info for display settings… so those options are not shown. However if you deactivate the “Inherit query from template” option you should see those settings reappear.
Hope that helps!

Yes, that surely helps, thanks!
PS: the image you have attached is not visible, however, I could find the settings.
