  Patreon is an essential tool for creators… One that can even let them pay for the premium aspects of your site! For this reason, I suggest that you add the Patreon widget (https://wordpress.org/plugins/patron-button-and-widgets-by-codebard/) to the Free Plan Plugin Suite.

  I see that there was some positive feedback from Staff in this thread about officially supporting Patreon’s widget, https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/is-patreon-allowed-on-wordpresscom-blogs?replies=14#post-2640990

  Regardless, I’ve marked this for their attention as a feature request.
