Open menu link in a new tab.

    Hello, I would like to ask how to be opening a menu link situated from the main menu options of the site in a second new tab. I would prefer the links redirecting to other external sites from this site in WordPress to open in a second tab but there was an option to do this which has recently been withdrawn.     Hi there,

    That option has not been removed.

    Go to My Site ->Design ->Customize ->Menus and click the gear icon at the top of the menu section. Make sure the Link Target box is checked.

    Then if you add or edit an individual menu item you’ll see the option to have it open in a new tab.

    That said, keep in mind that forcing all links to open in a new tab is considered poor practice in web development, and it will also make your site harder to use for people who rely on keyboard navigation or who use assistive technologies like screen readers.
