  I just wanted to confirm that within the Theme “Contempt” by Vault 9 – that I am limited to 11 categories. Is this correct? And if I wanted to add more is that possible via a paid service on WordPress?

  You can have as many categories as you wish. There is no limit. However, displaying more than 10 will do you no good.

  The 10-12 limit is per post and refers to the total number of tags + categories you assign to an individual post. Any more than that and you risk getting excluded from the global tags pages here.
