Notifications stopped

    I do not know what version WP I’m running, I’m unable to locate that, however I just started 2 months ago, so assume it’s one of the latest. My Problem: Followers have stopped receiving notifications of my new posts. I’ve looked throughout settings and cannot find anything related to this. The only other information which I can think of which may be helpful, I changed from Posts to Pages and the notification problem may have begun then, but I’m not sure.
    So, any help getting my notifications to work again?
