No blog by email options

I have recently joined the blog community and have setup an account at wordpress.com. Unfortunately I do not have a blog by email option when I go to the Adminitsration Panel > Options > Writing. I might be missing something really simple. Please help

neither do i. maybe that option is somewhere else in the dashboard, or even perhaps no such option at all?

Not sure which one of you folks added the email tag to this thread but I found the solution by following it. :)
(ie not currently possible. You’re looking at the self hosted version of WordPress, not the version we running here. It may be added int he future. Be sure to send in a feedback requesting this feature as that’s how they keep track of stuff like this.)
