Hopefully quick and succinct:

New blog, WP hosted, trying to get going :)

The New-Post Page isn’t loading properly, the “box” for typing my post appears briefly then disappears. Poof! No other issues with your admin area that I’m aware of atm. Firefox browser here. Java up-to-date AFAIK. Haven’t tried this with I.E., but I’d prefer not to as well :).

Any insight on where I may look or consider?

Do you have the visual editor turned on in your Admin => Users => Profile ? I might turn it off and then clear your cache in Firefox. Then turn it back on and see if that helps :)

Bingo! Tag this one resolved, with one caveat: I need to leave that checkbox un-checked. If I re-check it, the box for writing posts disappears again when the page is rendered. My Firefox’s config is heavily tweaked for performance and security, so I suspect a user-based issue here.
