new html block "FILLS/POURS" with non breaking space

    new block editor suddenly changed and added nonbreaking space code.
    i was writing a post.
    <p> In&nbsp;2014-2015&nbsp;&nbsp;i&nbsp;regularly&nbsp;contacted&nbsp;&nbsp;Google&nbsp;about&nbsp;a&nbsp;&nbsp;Email&nbsp;database&nbsp;breach&nbsp;and&nbsp;fraud.&nbsp;and&nbsp;discovered&nbsp;there&nbsp;were&nbsp;no&nbsp;humans&nbsp;responding&nbsp;to&nbsp;tech&nbsp;<br>support.&nbsp;&nbsp;The&nbsp;very&nbsp;company&nbsp;who&nbsp;&nbsp;commanded&nbsp;everyone&nbsp;to&nbsp;use&nbsp;there&nbsp;real&nbsp;name&nbsp;on&nbsp; google accounts,<br>offers&nbsp;such&nbsp;hi&nbsp;tech&nbsp;&nbsp;software&nbsp;such&nbsp;as&nbsp;the&nbsp;google&nbsp;maps&nbsp;that&nbsp;&nbsp;guided&nbsp;me&nbsp;home.<br>there&nbsp;is&nbsp;no&nbsp;one&nbsp;to&nbsp;talk&nbsp;to&nbsp;&nbsp;about comprimized&nbsp;software or data-base servers.<br>meanwhile&nbsp;they&nbsp;marketed&nbsp;laptop&nbsp;software&nbsp;to&nbsp;&nbsp;families&nbsp;with&nbsp;children.<br>To&nbsp;my&nbsp;government, I even&nbsp;had&nbsp;to&nbsp;report&nbsp;a&nbsp;high&nbsp;jacking&nbsp;of&nbsp;one&nbsp;of&nbsp;there&nbsp;parent&nbsp;level&nbsp;DNS.&nbsp;no&nbsp;repsonse&nbsp;from&nb

    We’d definitely like to take a closer look at this.

    I have a few follow up questions.

    – are you using html block type? or other?
    – which browser and version number are you working from?
    – does this occur in other browsers?
    – operating system of your computer and version?
    – please share the original code you were working with so I can test it as well.

    second time, tonight again.

    i was using html block type. Firefox quantum 63.0
    Ubuntu 16.04 Gnome .

    i have not tried it with anything else.
    i will give it a try later tonight actually.

    i may have malware doing this.

    Are you able to tell me the post title that you’ve been working on? Then I can take a closer look at it specifically.

    looks like i found what maybe the issue.
    in paragraph mode. it does not seem to like the addition of new code such as header sizes or alignment of image.
    it autosaves to fast and a bunch of junk code shows up.

    i cannot confirm thats what happens yet.

    Ive decided to go back to the old editor right now.
    there is a lot of short codes i dont understand
    the shortcode above seems to make text content run all over the blog page into the margins on preview

    some other notes
    it is difficult to get back to the what-you-see-is-what-you-get editor from the HTML mode. once you turn on HTML editing.

    the editor asks to “resolve” bad code” but doesnt actually do anything.

    i would guess the new editor is more for an advanced user who wants to save and make his own widgets, maybe the wordpress.org user.
    so im hoping that wordpress.com keeps the old editor available.
    its far more convenient for regular bloggers

    unpublished post.
    staff has my full permission to look into the draft.

    using the old editor , their is nothing unusual after removing “line break code”
    <br />
    the post text flows into the margin and i cannot find any broken tags.

    ( cursor moves back and forth and i encourage wordpress to look into this phenomenon )

    so if the Staff is interested. the draft its there. tomorrow i use an offline editor to remove any tags and the repost and publish it.
