new feature — random stumbling
-
Hi guys,
Matt put in a hidden new feature this weekend. You can add a link in your sidebar so that people can stumble through your blog at random.
It’s pretty cool :)

I tried it on your blog, engtech. Such a neat feature. When are we gonna start using it?
-
The way I understand it from reading engtech’s post we can do it right now.
You can add a link in your sidebar so that people can stumble through your blog at random. All wordpress.com bloggers can do the same thing for their blog by adding “?random” to the URL of their main site.

Sorry, I didn’t actually see that. For the record, it’s working fine in my blog. Thank you.
-
Yeah, I’m thinking of putting it on my blog. Thanks engtech.
And now for setting up the contact page…. :)

Contact page now online. Check.
Random generator now online. Check.
I agree with you, drmike, it would be great to have the random article generator as a widget that would load five random articles with, perhaps, a 25 word preview for each that would re-load every time the page is refreshed.

Re: random post generator – I’m in agreement with drmike and with what boles has suggested.

I found a video that seems to capture much of the wp.com community’s reaction to the three new features. I embedded said video (and listed said features) at:
