Need help modifying my Coraline themed blog
-
The Coraline themed blog I use has 3 columns with the far left and right columns more narrow. I would like to remove the far left column to give the center column more space for my photos and blog posts.
WordPress Chat suggested asking if anyone can help me with something called CSS to shift the columns and give me more space in the center margin for my pictures and posts.
Any help is greatly appreciated – I’m a tech novice.

Hello there,
Have you purchased the required upgrade?
See here for details on purchasing the annually renewable Premium bundle http://store.wordpress.com/plans/premium/ that contains a custom design upgrade required for CSS editing:

Hi @bosguyblog, we can do this with custom CSS, but you would need to purchase the Custom Design Upgrade by going to Store > Store in your admin dashboard.
You can try out and preview custom CSS before you buy as explained here. This would be the CSS needed.
.sidebar-content-sidebar #primary { display: none; } .sidebar-content-sidebar #content { margin-left: 0; float: left; width: 75%; }
The other thing you would want to do is to scroll down below the CSS edit area to and enter 740 in the Media Width field so that full sized images would take up the full new content width.
You can preview the change in the Customizer, but to save it and have it applied to your site would require the upgrade.
