This may be a problem with your web browser. Make sure that the web browser you’re using is listed here: http://browsehappy.com/
-
That’s not an issue that commonly affects free hosted WordPress.COM bloggers. Please work through what follows and report back.
1. If you are not running one of the browsers and versions listed at http://browsehappy.com/ please try upgrading or switching first.
2. If you are using an IE browser in compatibility mode please disable that mode. http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/1196-internet-explorer-compatibility-view-turn-off.html
3. If you are running one of the browsers and versions listed at http://browsehappy.com/
(a) Try clearing your browser’s cache http://www.google.com/support/accounts/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=32050
If applicable see here for instructions on how to clear the cache for Chrome and Safari on the iPad:
http://browsers.about.com/od/howtousemobilebrowser1/ss/safari-ipad-clear-cache.htm
http://browsers.about.com/od/howtousemobilebrowser1/ss/How-To-Clear-Browsing-Data-In-Chrome-For-Ipad_6.htm(b) Make sure that you have both third-party cookies enabled and JavaScript enabled
http://en.support.wordpress.com/third-party-cookies/
http://www.google.com/adsense/support/bin/answer.py?answer=12654(c) Disable all browser extensions or add-ons temporarily.
(d) Try enabling HTTPS: http://en.support.wordpress.com/https/
Add both *.wordpress.com and *.wp.com to your list of trusted sites under the Security tab. Make sure to uncheck the box for “Require server verification (https:) for all sites in this zone.” http://en.support.wordpress.com/https/#frequently-asked-questions
4. Try using another browser.
5. If you are not successful let us know:
(a) Exactly what kind of device you are using to connect to the internet and to WordPress.com.
(b) Exactly which browser (and version of it) you’re using by checking here if necessary http://www.whatbrowser.org/
(c) And exactly what any error reports you receive state. -

You mention a “website” and if you mean a a WordPress.ORG software install then your need to post to this support forum http://wordpress.org/support/ as it’s common issue and that’s where support for that software is.
What I posted above applies only if you are referring to a free hosted WordPress.COM blog as those are the only blogs we provide support for here at WordPress.com.

It looks like some sort of mis-configuration of the site, since all the widgets are off the left side of the site and there’s no content but a blank space where there should be at least a “not found” message.
Tagged for Staff.

It is not the browser as http://www.marignycharlotte.com shows up as a blank screen on any computer with any browser.
-
Oh right. @justjennifer has tagged this for staff support so a member of staff should leave a reply here soon.

RE: w.marignycharlotte.com
The temporary fix is quite easy, requires FTP access to turn off the offending Plug-in – see below
The site you are asking about does not seem to be hosted on WordPress.COM so you need to make friends over at WordPress.ORG the keepers of the software you are using.
This site is for support of sites hosted on WordPress.COM. You should address your questions to WordPress.ORG the keepers of the software you are using: http://wordpress.org/support/
For more on the difference: http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

RE: w.marignycharlotte.com
that’s a WordPress.ORG install – you need to make friends over there for the fix – I would give you more info but the spam filter grabs the good help links

I got the hosting company to fix something so now the site displays the error but I have no idea what to do with the error.
Here is what is says when I go to the site or on wordpress:
Notice: Undefined property: authorlistpage_Plugin::$wp27 in /webroot/m/a/marig001/marignycharlotte.com/www/wp-content/plugins/all-author-page/allauthorpage.php on line 34 Notice: register_uninstall_hook was called incorrectly. Only a static class method or function can be used in an uninstall hook. Please see Debugging in WordPress for more information. @marignycharlotte You website must be running the WordPress.org blogging software. You don’t require a WordPress.org forum account to use the WP.org blogging software.
Here’s more info about WordPress.org: http://wordpress.org/about/
Here’s the WordPress.org Forum: http://wordpress.org/support
-
WordPress.ORG is where you need to get help.
The forums are not connected so you can use the same email to open an account if you want (and user name also if it is not taken)
-
For all the talk of a WordPress standalone install, I’m talking about marignycharlotte.wordpress.com, which looks like this to me in Chrome 32 (screenshot)
@marignycharlotte – if you need help with a standalone WordPress install, we can’t help you here. as Mike said above, you’ll need to head over to the support forums at http://wordpress.org/support. Please read the support doc he linked to which explains the differences.
