my free site’s capacity
-
I maintain a free site for my women’s hiking group. I would like to add many photos that were stored on my FLICKR site to this WordPress blog that I already have. I’m wondering if there might be a capacity issue for this free site, and if there is, would I need to upgrade? How much additional space would that provide, and how much would it cost per year?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I hope this helps :)

Just to add, you can also embed images from Flickr on your WordPress.com site.
Embeds don’t count as storage, since they’re being hosted by a third-party service. You can essentially embed as many images as you’d like.

Is there a way to see how much of the 3 GIG I’ve been using? How do I know how big my site is?
Thank you in advance for helping here!

You can see your remaining space under My Site > Media.

Thank you, again!
One more question….To save space, I’m wondering if I can delete the photos in the Media Library, which are already posted on the blog. If I do this, will those photos in the blog posts ALSO be deleted, or will they remain?
When I tried this with a single picture, it seems that the photo still remains in the post into which it was inserted, but I’m not sure if this is something that is only on my computer, or if it will disappear when rebooted, or if the pictures stay permanently in the post without them being in the library?

If they’re deleted from the media library, they’ll also be deleted from any posts they been added to.
