Moving Search Box in Big Brother Theme

I’m using the Big Brother theme, which allows you to place the Search box on the right-hand sidebar using a widget.

I would like to have the Search box in the header instead. Is there a way I can easily do this via custom CSS?

Hey there! It’s not really easy (if even possible) to use CSS to move a widget like that, since layout is influenced by the HTML of the page (which is generated by the theme) in addition to the CSS.

There are several themes, though, that have a search box already integrated into the Header area.

Hey,
This is what I used in the CSS Editor and it worked well.But I am unable to change its color from white to blue as in menu.
Position by changing the top,right properties.

#page {
position: relative;
}

.widget_search {
position: absolute;
top: 290px;
right: 30px;
text-align: center;

}

Thanks deenarla. I tried your solution and it worked. I used different positions (e.g. top: 0px;) to fit my theme/customizations, and it worked well. Thanks again.
