Merging multiple RSS feeds into one Widget?
-
Hi, not sure if this is possible or not.
The website that I would like to add an rss feed of on my blog has disaggregated their feeds to such an extent that I would need to have 5 different RSS Widgets to just get the news I want from them (http://www.mediaterre.org/actualite.html). I tried doing that and found that it takes a ton of space and just looks bad overall. Is there a way I can have several RSS feeds from the same site aggregated into one RSS widget on WP?
Here is my site, though at the moment I’ve removed all the RSS widgets.

If you use wordpress.org:
http://code.google.com/p/wp-rss-combiner/
If you use wordpress.com you can’t. -
Have a look at http://pipes.yahoo.com
You can use their service to combine several feeds into one. -
Thanks for the replies. I’m on wordpress.com so I’m kind of limited. The Pipes tool is great, except that they have some problem with french accents and they aren’t encoded properly. There’s a workaround but I can’t get it to work properly either! It gives me chinese characters instead. Grrr.
Hopefully I can get the Pipes workaround working and then it appears I’ll be in business.

Google Reader provides the same function. Save all 5 feeds into a single public folder. Google will then provide a new feed for the contents of the folder.
