Make my page logo larger
-
I would like to make the logo on my wordpress site larger.. I have changed the CSS to:
.site-logo { max-height: 800px; }
to try and create more space, but even when I upload a larger image, it appears the same size as before. I can’t see any changes. Are there any other ways I can do this?
I would use the ‘header’ image as a logo, but the header appears below the menu bar, and I would like my logo to appear at the very top of the page. Is there a way I could move the header up and above the menu bar?
Thank you in advance for the help!

Hi @yoletitgo, since you are using a different theme, and since CSS is generally theme specific, can I ask you to create a new thread in the CSS Forum? Many thanks in advance.

@grapevineproperties, the site logo image is created by the theme and WordPress software off of your original image at the size needed for the design. If we enlarge the logo, it will lose quality. Have you considered adding your image as a Header Image instead? The theme has a recommended header image size of 1230px x 100px, but you can actually insert any size image you wish. When you go to insert the image, choose it from your media library, click the “select and crop button, and then click the Skip Cropping button and it will be inserted at the original size above the navigation.
Give that a try and see what you think.
