Lovecraft theme – How to have headers in Widgets (footer and sidebar)
-
Hi there!
I’m using the Lovecraft theme for my website, and I notice on the theme preview that widgets in the sidebar and footer can have headers.
In practice however, it’s not possible to add headers because it now uses the new block editor.
Is anyone able to tell me how I can use the headers as shown on the Lovecraft preview?

Hey there,
Many thanks for reaching out.
It is possible to add a heading above widgets in the site editor – instead of using a widget title as you would traditionally, instead you would add a Headings block as seen here:
Heading Block
I hope this helps.

Thank you for coming back to me!
Doing that does add a heading, but not in the style shown on the preview of the theme :( It just goes on as a standard heading

@mattyoncallgmailcom can you try grouping each heading with its blocks? Usually that’s enough to get the theme’s style to apply.
-
Unfortunately that doesn’t seem to work either – the headings just go on there with their own style.
-
Can you go ahead and the headings and group them, then leave the site like that for a moment so we can see what you’re seeing?
-
I do apologise – I’m being a moron!
Adding a widget group does work very nicely.Thank you both for your help!
