Loss of widgets

    I had a free wordpress site at donnaedmunds.wordpress.com, but decided to move the content to donnaedmunds.com, a site i purchased through a third party broker. However, when attempting to replicate it in the new location, I’ve discovered that most of the widgets I use just aren’t there any more, even though I’m using the same theme. Why is this? And how can i get them back – or move the content of the old site over exactly?

    The in-house widgets that are only for WordPress.com free hosted blogs are not included in the WordPress.org installs. On WordPress.org installs you can use the widgets provided by Facebook and Twitter.
