  I’m looking for a plug-in that would allow users to post discussions as well as photos and video like on Facebook. I have tried a couple but they require one to be able to do scripting. I can cut and paste all day but I can’t code. So, just picture being able to reply to a post in the same way you could in facebook.

  Since using plugins here requires a paid Business Plan, you’re not likely to find many folks who can offer a recommendation.

  Because of this, I recommend asking over at https://wordpress.org/support/forum/miscellaneous/ instead.
