logo/masthead

hey. i’m wondering if it’s possible for me to add a logo or masthead in the journalist theme, and, if so, how? will i need the CSS upgrade? is it something really obvious that i’m missing? any help/directions to answers is much obliged.

sorry about that. the blog is http://lastnightsmixtape.com/, and you can see that the header is just real boring. and i have tried searching, but to no avail, hence the question. any help would be greatly appreciated.

The theme in question does not have a customizable header. The themes that do have them are found in this thread http://en.support.wordpress.com/themes/custom-header-image/
If you are experienced and adept at CSS editing, prepared to work independently, as their is no Staff support, and willing to pay an annual fee for a CSS upgrade you can add a header to a theme that lacks one.

@pronunciamento: You can add a header without the CSS upgrade, but in the theme you’re using there’s only room for a rather thin strip across the top. Note that there are two Journalist themes: you’re using v1.3 while there’s also v1.9. If you switch to 1.9, there’s more room. If you have a specific image in mind, please upload it and paste its URL here so I can tell you if and how it can be done.
