Logo link in Coherent theme
-
Hi again,
Just following up on my last question about changing the link for the logo in the Coherent theme.
Some background – the theme offers a full page image as the header. Which is great – that’s why I chose this theme. However, if you then include the logo, there’s a problem. The logo can only link to the home page. That makes sense if the header was a standard header sitting at the top of the page. But if you’re using a full-page header, and the logo sits mid page, as a kind of site title, then you really don’t want the link to go to the home page. It’s circular – you’re already on the home page.
I understand that neither nor WordPress support can change the PHP file that defines the logo link, and CSS doesn’t allow me to change the link. So, can I instead remove the link all together? I would much rather not have a link, than frustrate users by offering a link to the page that they’re already on.
Thanks again for any help,

Scratch that. I think I’ve figured it out. I’ve added
pointer-events: none;
cursor: default;to h1 site-title.
