Libre 2 needs an urgent fix or update.
-
Hi there,
Libre 2 one of the beautiful theme, best suited for the long-form writers needs an urgent fix/update.It was working fine till couple of days before, but suddenly started showing an unwanted scrolling bar at the bottom of the browser. It stays there when the page loads, and fades once we scrolls down. When we scrolls up, it pops again when the page reaches it’s top. I think it has something to do with its main navigation bar on the top. The additional scroll bar becomes active only when the main navigation bar stays as such. Because, when we scrolls down, it retracts, and the additional scroll bar disappears, and vice versa.
If anyone know, how to fix and update this issue, please do the needful.

Hi there,
Sorry for the delay in responding. I’ve tried recreating this on a test site, and I’ve been able to do so, and I also see the issue on your website.
I’ve created an issue on the GitHub for this, but I’ve also tagged staff to see if there’s any workarounds which they can offer: https://github.com/Automattic/themes/issues/361
Thanks for your patience. :)

Hi there,
Thanks for letting us know. I suspect this might be related to recent changes to add support for the block editor to the theme, but we’ll need to wait to hear from a developer.
@torres126, thank you for filing the issue, and for the PR.The only workaround I can suggest is to add the CSS from your PR as custom CSS to the site, but as the OP is not on the premium plan that is not an option.

Hi @aryanjali!
We’ve deployed a fix for this issue; I’ve double-checked the two sites you’ve shared, https://dreambacoli.wordpress.com and https://crossdressingtales.wordpress.com, and I can no longer see the horizontal scroll bar.
Thanks for reporting this issue! If you run into anything else, just let us know!
