  how do I change the “white” areas (date & comment sections) to the same tan as my background?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hello there,

  I believe the correct way to do so would be add the following to your CSS:

  .entry-title {
  background: #f6eac8;
  }

  And not to worry…I managed to get the color to a lesser contrast and I am happy with it. Thanks…
