Jetpack statistics
-
On March 29, my blog site – https://falklandstimeline.wordpress.com/ – had over 200 downloads. A pattern pretty much repeated every day for the last few years. On the 30th, nothing. Not a one. From hero to zero overnight. That as been the case in the 6 days since. I am receiving visitor numbers, but nothing on downloads. I know people are downloading my files, but that information is no longer being recorded.
What happened? How can I get back to the 29th?

My views and visitors are also much lower all of a sudden. Another blogging friend here reported the same thing. It must be a bug.

No answers. Perhaps the question is too hard? Yet it seems to me that there can only be 3 possible answers:
- You did it yourself (as I understand very little, I could accept this response)
- We cocked up. Sorry (again, as I understand next to nothing, I would accept this response).
- Stats have been turned off because ……. (again, this would be reasonable as I am getting WordPress.com for free, but at least I would gain understanding).

@rogerlorton I see that another site owner posted in one of your other forum threads that Support is already aware of the issue.
