Jetpack Comment Notifications not working for self-hosted comments

    Hello! We’re running most of the Jetpack elements on our self-hosted (WP Engine) wordpress blog. (OMG how much do we love the new image galleries! Yay & TY!)

    We have Jetpack Comments enabled – great.
    We have Jetpack Notifications enabled – half great…

    If there’s a reply to my comment on any WP.com blog, I get a notification – great!
    BUT – if there’s a reply to my comment on OUR JETPACK blog, there’s NOTHING in the Notifications.

    I thought Notifications worked for the blog you set it on, right? Or does it only serve to take you out to WP.com but not actually do anything on the Jetpack Blog you set it on? Or are there any other elements or settings I need?
