issue with previous site

    I registered for myname.wordpress.com a long time ago and then must have never used it and used an old email address to register it, so I can’t recover the site’s password.

    It used my own name as the subdomain, which is very unusual (probably unique), and I am pretty sure I’d be able to verify the email address I used, as well as any other info that you might have that you could ask me for verification purposes.

    Is there any chance I would be able to recover the site? I really want to start using it again.

    Hello there,
    You can use that if you still have access to the email account with which you registered the site. You will have to recover the access to that site by resetting the password. The password reset emails will be sent to the email account which was used during registration.

    If you don’t have access to the email account, I am afraid you might not be able to gain access to the WordPress.com account.
