Issue with Pages

    I’ve created 3 pages and I’ve tried adding them to mu website but no matter what I do or click, every part of my website just goes to my home page or my frequently asked questions page

    Hi @meamaya101 – the problem looks like you’ve edited the template (named “Pages”) in the Site Editor, adding your FAQ directly there – instead of creating an FAQ page.

    Templates are intended as containers that pull through your page and post content. The “Pages” template in particular drives the display of all static pages except the homepage.

    When you removed the Content block in the “Pages” template and replaced it with your FAQ text, it meant that all you’ll see when you visit any pages created with that template is the FAQ text.

    What I’d suggest you to get this fixed up is:

    • Go to Pages > Add New, and create a new FAQ page.
    • Copy your FAQ text over into a new page.
    • Publish the new FAQ page.
    • Go to Appearance > Editor > Templates > Manage all templates
    • Next to the “Pages” template in the list, click the “Reset template” icon to undo your previous changes and return the template to its default state:
