(in)visible links

    Hi

    I tried to include a blogroll in my blog. Added the respective widget, added the desired links, but nothing is visible in the blog itself. Checked everything twice, don’t see any error. Ideas anybody? Thanks.

    Oh, forgot to mention: I am using the theme The Journalist, just in case this plays a role.

    Go to design > widgets and look at what is shown in the sidebar pane at the right. Does “Links” show up in the list there? If not, add it again and make sure to click the “save changes” button at the bottom of the sidebar.

    Go to manage > links and look to make sure the links you added are showing there. Click on each link to edit it and make sure there is a “category” assigned to each.

    You can set a default “links” category by going to settings > writing. Click “save changes” after you are done.

    Ok, I didnt realize it is obligatory to assign a category. Now I got what I wanted.

    You’re welcome, and yes there has to be a category assigned or the link will not appear.
