Invalid certificate error message

I believe this is an https:// issue.

Have you tried using the http:// link instead? -
Hi, and thanks for getting back. I’ve just had a look at my settings, and the box that says always use https isn’t checked. Should I check it, and then save changes?

If you go to a link on a WordPress.com blog that starts with https:// you may get the error in your browser. This is an expected consequence of visiting a page with an HTTPS URL.
If you are encountering this error when clicking on a link to a post in a WordPress.com blog’s sidebar (using the Recent Posts widget), this is a bug that was recently reported and hopefully will be resolved soon.

Hi. Thanks for your message. The message occurs when trying to view my own blog, and it’s within the iPad app that the problem is occurring. I look forward to a resolution, as it’s very frustrating.

Since I posted here, I learned that our mobile developers are aware of this issue and are trying to figure out what is happening. This appears to be happening to users who are running the WordPress app version 4.0 on an iPhone or iPad, and is also affecting some Android users.
They are working to resolve this as quickly as possible, and in the meantime we appreciate your patience.

Sometimes fixes are simple, sometimes they’re not, particularly if a team has several things on their plate. I will update the sticky thread at https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/certificate-errors-in-wordpress-mobile-app?replies=1 when I learn more.

We believe this issue has been fixed. Could you please try again and let me know if it’s working for you now? You may need to force quit the app and fire it up again.
