  Hi,

  I have an image on my desktop that I want to add to my blog sidebar and I can’t remember how to obtain a URL for it. Please help. I’ve done it before but for the life of me I can’t remember!! :(

  You upload it via Media > Add New (dashboard sidebar), and once it’s uploaded you click Edit and copy its URL from the File URL field of the Save module.

  Note: for best quality and no issues with bad browser versions, you should insert the image in real size instead of letting the theme downsize it. The width of the sidebar on the theme you’re using is 302px, so if the image is wider than that you should use an image editing application or an online tool to downsize it before uploading it.
