Please take a screenshot of what you are seeing and then upload it to your site’s Media Library. Come back and post the link to it so we can see. Thanks. https://en.support.wordpress.com/make-a-screenshot/
If you are referring to the left column on this page https://wdigest2015.wordpress.com/wp-admin/ you are already in the WP Admin dashboard so a link to WP Admin would not be needed. Just click Home.

No, I access this page by direct link https://wdigest2015.wordpress.com/wp-admin/.

It seems that you are not the only one – I am also missing the WP-admin button. And so are a lot of other people:
https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/wtf-happened-to-wp-admindashboard-link?replies=4I think that I might be on purpose, but what a poor decision!
I hope that I somehow will be able to get the shortcut back to where it was.

It has disappeared on ours as well. Click on Users (or type the URL) gets it back, but the link no longer sits below “View Site”

Hi there! We’ve removed the WP Admin button from the dashboard at http://wordpress.com/stats/
-
Why have you removed the button?
Some functions are quicker and more convenient via the wp-admin dashboard. And last time I looked, there were some functions not available via the new dashboard.
Please don’t tell me I can bookmark it. I work in different browsers on different computers at various times and for various reasons don’t want to synch bookmarks everywhere. Not practical for me.
So I really miss having the button. Please can you restore it?
-
We have no plans to restore the button. You can access WP Admin directly by adding /wp-admin/ to the end of your site’s URL.
As we roll out more of the work we’ve been doing, you’ll need WP Admin less and less. :)

But why remove the button before all functions are available through the new interface?
And why is the new interface slower than the old? I’ve been trying to use the new interface but finally gave up this evening as it was so slow. Found my way back to the old.
What are you doing to speed up the new?

@shawnajroberts – thanks for the clarification.
While I have no problem navigating to my WP Admin dashboards, I do have to agree with @auntyclare that if you are going to remove the link, why not wait to remove the link until the API interface is mostly complete rather than now.
-
Okay… I understand the reason the WP Admin link disappeared (although it’s extremely annoying, as I always used just that method, because it is faster and cleaner) and am glad (though annoyed) that I can get to it by adding to the URL.. however..
How come the link has only disappeared on ONE of my two (completely separate) WP.com blogs? Both use the same theme (Chateau) and yet, the WP Admin link has only disappeared on the of them (www.connoisseurarchive.com). On my other blog (chatsworthlady.com) it is still there.
If this is a sitewide change, then why is the WP Admin link gone from some blogs but not others?
-
I have the same problem where the WP Admin link appears for some and not for others. It would appear that it only appears for blogs that i created prior to October 2015. Can you confirm why and if this change will rollout to the rest of my blogs please?
-
This is also problematic, because it is not consistant across environments. I am teaching a class on using WordPress and some of us have a link to WP Admin and some do not.
I agree with the comment above. Why remove that link if all the features are not created yet? Why remove it inconsistently? Why make WordPress.com and WordPress.org, so different? Are there plans to add this new improved editing interface to the core software?
