I can't edit posts to which I am assigned

    My client has a WordPress site that uses WordPress 5.5.1 version. My role in the site is “contributor”. He creates a post and assigns me as an author(So we both are authors). But, when I click the post to edit, it doesn’t load. All I can see a blank screen without any error message. However, I can preview the post.

    There was no such issue in previous WordPress versions. Can anyone tell me what is the issue here?
