How to Link to youtube

    Hi Everyone, I am trying to add my blog as an associated website to my youtube channel but in order to verify I need to either add a metatag to my websites homepage or upload a HTML file. I have looked a bit online but I think most of the suggested methods, at least the ones I have seen, you need to use features from a paid wordpress account. Is there a way to link my wordpress to youtube without having to pay for a wordpress plan? Thanks
