How to keep widgets same with older posts
-
I use text widgets to show important holidays or books that go with the topic I’m writing on. The problems is that when I update those widgets for a new post, they update on all the older posts too, so they don’t match anymore.
How do I keep the specific text widgets with a specific post? Thanks!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

It is a wordpress.com blog. I have two blogs here. One is beginningless.wordpress.com and the other is cyberinkonline.wordpress.com
I don’t use the .org version.

There is no way to control what widgets show on what page. In some themes, widgets do not show at all on static pages, and in some widgets do not show on the single-post page, but it isn’t something we can set or control.

Thanks! So it seems perhaps I need to find a different way to post items that I want to stay with the particular post because they are so closely related. Any suggestions?

One option is to put a section at the bottom of the post with links to the related stuff. At onecoolsite, Timethief puts a section at the end of each post that she titles “Related posts found on this blog” and then she puts text links to the related posts.
