How to hide blog posts under a "tab" or "page"
-
I want a theme that allows me to hide all my blog posts under a tab or page that will be on the homepage. This way, my blog will function more as a website, and the viewer can click a tab for my blog posts, a tab for my photos, about me, etc.
Is there a free theme for this type and once I apply the theme, how do I hide my exisiting blog posts? I have found some themes compatible with my idea, but once I “apply” the theme, my existing blogs are still scrollable on the home page.
Thanks!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Have you checked the Using WordPress.com to Create a Website guide?
I can’t right away suggest a theme but http://theme.wordpress.com/ is a good place for you to start checking awesome themes on WordPress.com.

Check out this guide to setting a static page as your homepage and moving your blog posts to a different part of your site:
This can be done with virtually all themes.
Let me know how it goes!

As kathrynwp says, you may set the homepage to dispay a static front page on virtually any theme. Some themes will be better for your purpose than others. You might want to look at themes such as the following which include the option of displaying image links to your posts in a grid pattern on the front page.

The Edin and Goran themes are other options which allow image and title links to posts on a “static” homepage. And you might consider themes featuring a post slider.
