how to give access to people to write topics for me
-
Hi I am not very good on internet, I want to give couple of people to write topics on my blog how can I do it can someone tell me step by step as I am not very technical person
-
It’s here on the FAQ: http://faq.wordpress.com/2006/05/17/how-do-i-add-more-authors-users-to-my-blog/
Here is more detail:
* Log in and open the Dashboard for your blog (My Dashboards >> “blogname”)
* Click on “Users”
* Under “Add Users from the Community” choose their email address and then their “Role”.
You probably want to set the role as Author.
Off the top of my head, I think the roles do this:
Administrator – can make all changes
Editor – can create posts and edit stuff
Author – can create posts
Contributor – not sure what the difference is
Subscriber – not sure, can read the blog? -
-
I tried the way you suggested it looked fine but when I tried to send a invite it said you have already used all your invites which I am not very sure how it could be bcos I am the only person who uses this and write posts. Please can someone help?

sportsfanat: maybe try another method?
Send your friends emails (not using wordpress) to get them to sign up for wordpress.com, and then once they have accounts (and have sent you their account names)
* Log in and open the Dashboard for your blog (My Dashboards >> “blogname”)
* Click on “Users”
* Under “User List By Role” search for their user names (put in name and press search)
* Click their username in the list
* Click “Set role of checked users to” and select the Author role
