  Hi, when I place my new icon in the Independent Publisher 2 theme, the original from WordPress doesn’t disappear, it still stays bellow the new. How do I delete it?

  It’s your Gravatar. You can see it here on the left too. Just go to Customize > Theme Options and remove your email address from the Header Gravatar box.
