How to change wordpress directory /wp to root?
-
Hello!
I have a simple html website, then installed wordpress in my domain https://villalaangostura.com.br/wp/ and blocked search engines to crawl it. So right now in https://villalaangostura.com.br/ is the old website.
I’m ready to get rid of the old website and make the wordpress site on https://villalaangostura.com.br/wp/ my actual website.
I’m not sure about how to proceed. My understanding was that I’d simple change in general settings the wordpress url from https://villalaangostura.com.br/wp/ to https://villalaangostura.com.br/
and the website url field from https://villalaangostura.com.br/wp/ to https://villalaangostura.com.br/But that didn´t work, instead, I had lot of trouble to login in back and the wordpress website were not showing in https://villalaangostura.com.br/ anyway…
Would you lend me a hand on this? Thanks in advance!
