How to add a editor user to the blog and not force them to make their own blog?

    We have a group of members who are going to help us build our website. I want all of them to be have at least editor privileges. I can invite them through the usual procedures here. But many of these members are objecting to having to go through all the steps of creating their own blog. Is there a way they can just register with email, unsername, and password and still be able to edit our site ?

    Yes. When they get to the registration page there are two options: to create a blog or just get a username. Tell them to just get a username.
