    HOW IS REFERENCING ON WORDPRESS ?

    Hello,

    I just picked up an old WordPress blog that I closed about three years ago when it was just starting to build. I have of course changed the URL and the title of this old blog to create this new blog.

    I ask you :

    How is the referencing of the URL, the title, as well as articles on WordPress?

    Is it like many other blog hosts that I open an account on Google Search and it’s up to me to do all the referencing?

    I tell you that at least for the moment I can not choose your PREMIUM plan although it would be the ideal for me because I can not afford to pay you annually at once. The day your PREMIUM plan is payable monthly then I will immediately change my current free plan for this one.

    Hi @blogschizogueri,

    If you used our “change URL” tool:
    http://en.support.wordpress.com/changing-blog-address/

    Then all of the links in the site itself will be updated. However, any links that are already out there on search engines / social media / business cards will not be redirected automatically, so if you want to maintain all of that I’d recommend a site redirect. It’s $13/year. Let us know if you’d like that and we’ll help you get it set up.
