How do people I invite post messages using P2?

    I just created a new blog using P2. My understanding is that people I invite to the blog are able to post messages just like using twitter. From start to finish, if I invite someone to my blog from facebook, do they need to sign up for an account first, have an invite from me, or??? to post a message? This is a planning event for a reunion and I need everyone to have the capability to post a message without my approval. Is there a widget I have to install to get this going, or?

    I am a little confused about how this works….any help woud be highly appreciated.

    The will have to sign up for an account, but they do not have to get a blog here. One they sign up, they can let you know their username and then you can set them up as a contributor or an author: http://support.wordpress.com/user-roles/ .
