How do I remove the open Image window which is blocking my statement line?
-
I’m using the iPad app for WordPress. I tried to change my General settings on the statement that describes my blog. However, the Image adder tiny window is covering it, and it won’t close! I’m not able to move that opened window, and can’t get to the statement line underneath it. I’ve tapped it, tapped around it – it doesn’t budge. Anyone have an idea?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I tagged this thread for a Staff follow-up.
Please post screenshot, upload it to your Media Library, and return to this thread to provide the file name so Staff can examine it.

I’m going to need a little more walk through, if you don’t mind. Do you mean create a new Post on my Page with screenshot in it? Or does post screenshot mean something else? And, where do I find screenshot? Finally, by file name do you mean the question title I used?
Thank you so much for your help! -
Ok. I made a copy, it’s in my iPad photos. I’ll upload it to Media. How do I send it to staff? Sorry to be so thick about this stuff? Thank you!

The instructions here describe how to take a screenshot http://en.support.wordpress.com/make-a-screenshot/

If it’s still happening, let us know exactly which browser (and version of it) you’re using by checking here if necessary http://www.whatbrowser.org/ and also post any error reports you get.
-
The Dashboard display in the WordPress app may be too small to allow that.
Try opening the blog’s Dashboard in Safari on your iPad (not in the WordPress app).

Timethief I followed all the instructions, cleared history, cookies and data. Had to sign in on WordPress with email and password. When I went to settings, general on my dashboard, that darn little window was still blocking my statement. I have a photo of it, where do I send it.
Oh, yeah, my browser is Safari 6. I don’t get any error notices.
Thank you for taking this time with me, and for giving me all the links to figure out how to follow your advice! -
Sure, please upload the screenshot via Media -> Add New in your blog’s Dashboard so we can take a look.
-
Do I leave it on my dashboard in my media library? If that’s it, it’s now in my media library. The last image. Please advise as to further actions I need to take.
Thank you very much for your assistance! -

Oh, that should work much better if you use your iPad in landscape move (turn it on its side) instead of portrait. :)
-
I’m not sure what file you’re referring to. But, I was trying to change the statement that tells what my blog is about. That’s in Setting – General. Is more info than that needed?
-
-
macmanx – just tried turning my iPad to the side, Landscape. Nothing changed, the little window that says “Upload a picture…” is still there covering my Site Tagline.
-
That is rather odd. Would you please take a screenshot of that too so I can pass it on?
What would like your tagline to be?

I just went on again, and now it’s working! Before, there was a black menu on the left that prevented the full page from opening . But, the black menu isn’t showing now and the regular page is fully open. So, now the Upload a Picture is to the far right rather than on top of the tag line. If the black menu appears again, how should I get rid of it? Thank of for our help!

I think something might just be stuck in the iPad’s cache, it happens from time to time.
If you see it again when you flip to landscape orientation, try reloading the page.
