How do I get a Bunnyhero pet on my sidebar?
-
I’ve been trying to put a Bunnyhero virtual pet on my sidebar. I’ve copied the code from Bunnyhero, and pasted it into a text widget, but the pet doesn’t show up, just a link to the Bunnyhero website.
Any ideas, please?

Does the code have the word “javascript”, “script” or “iframe” in it anywhere?
If it does you’re on a losing battle. all three are banned at wp.com.
Can you provide and example of the code so we can have a look at it please? Never heard of bunnyhero…
Ta!

This is the code: <div style=”width: 250px; padding: 0; margin: 0; text-align: center”><embed src=”http://petswf.bunnyherolabs.com/adopt/swf/llama” width=”250″ height=”300″ quality=”high” bgcolor=”ffffff” pluginspage=”http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer” flashvars=”cn=pajama&an=mama&clr=0x4821ed” type=”application/x-shockwave-flash”></embed>
<small>adopt your own virtual pet!</small></div>It should give me a purple llama called pajama. Silly, I know, but there you go.
The Bunnyhero website address is: http://bunnyherolabs.com/
The bug was sitting on a poppy in our garden. It’s magnificent, isn’t it.

Ok, it uses the only one I didn’t mention in my first reply. It’s “flash” and, due to security concerns around the flash application it’s also banned at wordpress.com.
Purple Llama? Cool!
/me goes to look…

Thanks, your reply helped. I found alternative code for sites that do not allow flash. It isn’t as elegant, but it works!
