Help navigating toolbar in WordPress

Add topic to favorites
Hi there, so I’ve been searching through the forums for how to add a ‘read more’ button from the plugin to my actual blog posts. I’ve seen people talking about the toolbar and there being a button you just press to add a split and the ‘read more’ button will be inserted. This button does not exist on my WordPress visual editor – in fact, the toolbar I have available when I am editing posts is very limited, unlike all the ‘how to’ images shown on other Q&As about this topic – if anyone can assist that would be great! Thanks

Hi,

The “Insert Read More tag” button is found in the toolbar on the Classic Editor. If you’re using the new WordPress Editor (aka the Block Editor), then you may use the More block instead. See the More Block support page.
