Header title: how to display title in the image, not underneath it

My header image is of two men going fishing in a canoe; I’d like to superimpose the Title of my website — 101 Things to do in Stilbaai — onto the image. How do I do that?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
Changing this requires Custom CSS, which becomes available after upgrading the site to WordPress.com Business or Premium.
If you decide to upgrade, feel free to make a post over in the CSS forums and we can look into it with you.Without upgrading, you might try a different theme like Shoreditch or Gateway:

You could also look for any other theme that puts text over an image as part of its design.
Some of them will simply link to a blog post, but others allow you to have words over an image without linking.

Thank you very much for the reply, which is much appreciated. How much will it cost me to upgrade to Business or Premium, do you know? And is the charge monthly, or once off?

All upgrades on WordPress.com are billed yearly.
The prices will show at the top of this page:
