Having to approve self-pings

    Whenever I link to another post on my blog, I get a self-ping which I like and find helpful. But it always needs to be manually approved: is there any way of automatically approving pings from myself?

    (Most comments on my blog are automatically approved except those containing certain words, none of which apply here, and multiple links).
