Gravatar Display Failure

  • Since I created my site, I have been trying to set my image so as to display as the Gravatar. But alas; no success. It doesn’t display.

It only displays as an Avatar.

    Somebody, tutor me, please!

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  • Hi there. Just to make sure, do you want the image to appear next to your username? You set that up in your profile settings, either here: https://wordpress.com/me/public-profile/ or under Users ->My Profile in the classic dashboard. Note that after uploading an image it can take a couple of days for it to appear as the WordPress cache first needs to update.

The image you uploaded under Settings ->General in the dashboard is your blavatar, or blog avatar, and functions as a favicon in web browsers. That image is specifically associated with your blog, not with your username. See more about gravatars and blavatars here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/avatars/
